Located at a distance of 37 kms from the Karthik Estate Cottages – the stunning Dabdabe Falls or Jhari falls, also called as Buttermilk Falls, is located close to Attigundi in the Chikmagalur district of Karnataka. It is situated at a distance of approximately 12 km from the Baba Budangiri. This is one of the most well-liked waterfalls in Chikmagalur and a top tourist destination.

Nestled among the Western Ghats’ thick forests and coffee plantations is Jhari Falls- a two-tiered waterfall. Silky water cascades from a height of 50 to 70 meters down the naturally occurring step-like structure made of rocks. As the Jhari falls, a spring that rises on top of the mountains flows below.

A small natural pool at the base of the falls is a great place to cool off and have fun in the summertime. Additionally, if you’re an adventure junkie, try to make your way to the waterfall’s second tier, which is located 30 meters above. There’s a muddy path parallel to the falls’ wall that leads to the second tier.
